Based on a HD video of a flock of murmurating birds shot in the Ebro delta. Low res, compression artifacts and image processing turn the birds into a black particle system. Birds, locusts, ants, fish, etc. obey certain rules when they appear in swarms. Yesterday, I read that cells in our bodies move in groups that follow similar rules. Like locusts, the wandering groups of cells reject each other to keep a safe distance from their neighbor, but they also attract each other to effect a most efficient mass migration ...
