This time, my take chanced to match Google’s street views from Jul 2023, 2018, 2012 and Jun 2009. In the middle of the lawn, mounted on a pole, there used to be an American flag, missing in the most recent view. With New York under a hazardous weather outlook all day today, showers and thunderstorms might well have struck and flooded the area, a catastrophe hopefully contained within the re-imagings of the AI model.

A woman who made a request stop at Hunter Town Office is walking towards the off-screen Hunter Town Office Sculpture Park, a motley collection of blocks of local bluestone with over 250 symbolic and figurative carvings left by the student carvers of the free annual seminars of Kevin VanHentenryck. A sculptor, he is well known for his Rip VanWinkle monument at the summit of Hunter Mountain. A long time ago, he was an actor and starred in the 1982 exploitation film and cult classic «Basket Case».
