HEIDI - A Dystopian Tale

«Heidi – A Dystopian Tale» brings together AI-generated images, animations and narrative in an ongoing work inspired by Johanna Spyri’s classic novel. The project began in response to an open call for the exhibition «Heidi Goes AI».

In a future in which the Alps have become largely uninhabitable, Heidi and Dete cross melting glaciers, dead forests, abandoned ski resorts and deserted alpine pastures strewn with cattle bones to reach the Grandfather. He has remained behind as caretaker of a transparent Bio-Dom—one of the last alpine sanctuaries where plant life survives.
