Moonlighting: Dance by lunar polarity

"... While the sacred beetle turns around and around, the score, a quiet crackling noise, gradually transforms into

a romantic song from the 50s — „That feeling in the moonlight“ by Gene Krupa.

But this is only part of the scenery.

Behind the viewer’s back, there is a second beetle, pinned alive, turning around its own axis.

Is it the work of an entomologist, ready to perform all sorts of cruelties in the name of science?

Or is it a child’s attempt to capture the beauty of the beetle and thereby learning a lesson about life?..."
